Napable
In our fast, globally connected world, travel is becoming increasingly important.
Travelling is often associated with waiting areas, where I often observe working or sleeping people
trying to use their waiting time as efficiently as possible. For this reason I decided to design
furniture that makes working and sleeping in public easier and healthier.
The Napable is designed for public spaces such as airports or train stations.
It can be tilted into two different positions. In the upright position you can stand and work, while
in the horizontal position you can recharge your batteries by taking a nap. It is comfortable to use
and is easy on the back because the body is not forced into a sitting position.
The Napable was designed in collaboration with MAGIS, an Italian-based furniture design company.
